about

(About a bad motel...inspired by watching signs on road trips)

lyrics

In the inn I was in....

There was only one bed
and six of us

There was only one bathroom
and all six of us had to go
at the same time!

There weren’t any windows
and just a curtain for the door

One day we’ll stay at a place
with breakfast and cable TV
Where they treat you nice and they know
what an inn is supposed to be
That place with the sheet on the chairs
was a fort I could not defend
O.K. for a living room game
but I’m glad it was just pretend

The custodian only came to clean
the room one time while I was there!

They named their project after the supportive outer shell of a sculptural mold, as a metaphor for their relationship. ... more
